Washing Machine does not turn or spin

On 4th November,our Bosch Maxx WFL 2260 Washing machine was working perfectly. We put it on overnight and left it to run a wash at 40 degrees as normal.

In the morning we found that the wash had not happened although some of the clothes were wet. The machine draws water, fills for rincing, drains etc. but does not turn or spin.

We were advised that the brushes might need changing and have done this but the machine does everything except turn or spin.

Once the water has been drawn for the wash, the machine does not move on to the next stage of the wash cycle. The control unit clicks as if it is moving on to the wash stage but the drum does not turn and the wash does not happen. It keeps clicking until it ends the wash without having washed the clothes.
