Question about Pioneer DEH-P9800BT CD/MP3/WMA Player/Blue Tooth Enabled

Pioneer deh p9800bt

I've recently installed this unit to my car, and set all the settings to the way i like them, ie stations stored etc, however i cant seem to save the settings meaning that every time i take the face off and put it back on, all my stations etc are gone!!! this is getting to be a real pain, any help would be much appreciated.

There is a yellow wire that needs to be connected to a constant +12 volt supply. This wire retains all of the pre-sets, settings, etc.

It sounds like it is not.

Check the connections with a volt meter with the vehicle off to verify it has constant +12 volts.

Does your car have a Factory amp if so u need to find the blue wire ( on most cars) and either ground it out or and power to it, it should turn the speakers on for you to play

how did u pair/connect ur voyager to ur deh-p9800bt? i tried from the head unit and from the phone.. read both books.. just cant seem to figure it out.. can u email me what u did plz?

Help please

to set the clock turn off the unit and then hold the multi control thing down and the clock thing will come up.

Setting stations

The only way I know how is to use the remote. Manually set your station using the multi function button(the larger round one). then press and hold one of the number buttons on the remote until it beeps. Usually two seconds. your station should be set. Then adjust and repeat.

Alternor noise

I had the same problem with my Pioneer Head Unit.

I changed the ground of the Head Unit and the AMP to the same location and that took care of the Alternator noise.
