Press the VOL (+ or -) button to adjust the volume. If you want to switch the sound off, press the MUTE button. You can cancel the Mute function by pressing the MUTE or VOL (+ or -) button.

No,the tv was previous in the Hotels or hospitals.This type of tv is special designs for Hospitals and Hotels.

On the TV-use your finger to adjust the volume level, about midway, then use the remote to shut off the tv, then turn on tv with remote. Volume level should be better! If still not loud enough...using your finger on the tv...turn up volume & repeat remote steps.

This is a inherent problem in the LG 7 series LCD. It is because of poor padding in between the speaker and the bezel along with a very thing back that causes the TV to vibrate at certain frequencies and volumes. LG is aware of this issue and has new speaker brackets and spaces that will fix the issue. You can contact them and explain your situation if they can send a service center out to fix the issue under warranty as it is less than a year old. If you cannot get it covered, it should still be a cheap repair as the parts should only cost around $20 and take less than one hour of labor for a technician familiar with the issue.

If the volume buttons work when using the Radio, then the buttons on the Remote are fine.
Now if the volume on your TV is set to MAX and you can barely hear it.
The issue lies with your TV.. ()
Now if I understand correctly or if I am to assume you are using a Reviever.
If the reciever is used for all volumes... If this is the case.
I also assume the volume on the TV Speakers is set to off
Therefore when you use the Radio/DVD the volume control is using the Reciever volume.
and when you switch to TV it uses the TV volume thus the TV volume is not gonna work as well.
2 scenarios
1 The TV volume even at max is not giving you enough power to get the low receiver volume
2 the Receiver volume is at max and barely audible.. if this is the case just manualy adjust your TV volume to get it to a decent sound level.

Hard to explain but I know the 2 issues can be fixed.

Amplify the song with Nero Wave editor, from menu, VOLUME -> Volume change and go up to +10 db but not more.

if you are using a cable box make sure the cable box remote volume is also turned up go into the customer menu on the tv and verify that the speakers are on under the audio settings
