Try Ebay. thefind.com, Mfg customer service. Usually they are helpful. You may get lucky and they send one free. (they need to know they have an unreliable part.)

On/off swith knob broken

Is it the actual knob that is broken or the little tab the knob holds onto that is broken. You either need a replacement knob or a replacement switch assuming the know is also the thermostat for the unit. Does that same knob control the fan speed? Temprature or timer?

Dryer knob sticks in one spot- won't move

Door switch / Door switch actuator leverThe dryer would not start with a broken door switch. Replace the door switch if found defective.

Most dryers have a door switch actuator lever - when you close a dryer door, it presses against the lever, which actuates the door switch. If the lever is broken, the switch would not activate and the dryer would not start. Replace the lever, if broken.

Note: Door switch actuator lever usually comes with the door switch assembly and it is recommended to get the whole assembly since there is almost no price difference between the door switch assembly and just the lever. Check your model for more details.

SWITCH KNOB

Pull off the knob and then see if you can push the shaft in. If you can, then the knob is hitting something, preventing you from being able to push the knob in. Adjust the knob until you can push it in. If you can't push the shaft in with the knob off, then the control valve is broken and you will have to replace it.

Broken Knob for fan control

once you take off the front housing, the switch itself shoud be easy to remove and replace...sometimes, a used appliance store/repair office can get a suitable replacement part. Trick is to mark the wires as you remove them from the switch and take hte switch with you while you go part hunting. Also would help to have model and serial number (and brand name) noted to take along. Papdaddy

Drying time knob broke

You should be able to simply push the new knob right on the switch shaft. If part of the broken knob shaft is on the switch, remove it first before installing the new knob. If you see that the switch shaft is broken off, replace the switch as well. Hope this helps.
