I live in kill devil hill, NC I am renting a apartment and my lease is up on 03-31-2015. I was ask to give 60 days notice before I was to move , but I give them 30 days . I was told that I am terminating my lease early and I did not give the 60 days so I would have to stay until may 2015. but there is a typo in my lease when I was reading it to make sure it was 60 days my lease states that my move in date is 06-30-2014 and ends in 03-31-2014. is this lease still binding can they make me stay 2 more months? which is may 2015

How to Decide Whether to Lease or Buy a Car?

If you want to keep car, cheaper in long run to purchase. If you want new car every few years you go the lease route knowing that there are mileage limitations and that it is just money out the window, like rent payments.

Dealers make considerably more money on leases - that is why they like them. Not good for most consumers unless ..............If you own a business the lease rental is a deductible expense.

Common problems

I am in a very precarious situation. I had to resign from my position working for the county of san diego, due to PTSD. My disability was exhausted in april and had to apply for Federal long term disability. My disability may b manageable at some point in the future, but for now i am unemployed, on County Aid, and persistent in continuing my treatment. Now, /when my i ran out of funds, i had no place to go and a peer i met in 'sober living' suggested i move in with her to care for her temporarily as she was having surgery...I moved in April 2014.....then in exchange for housing, she suggested that i care for her three pets and the home....while she is incarcerated for a period of less than two years....i agreed reluctantly...i have signed on to the month to month lease.....i have not paid rent but have supplied food, allowed her use of my car, and housekeeping. the situation has become very scary and of course is a result of my choices in desperation and not dealing with a full deck of cards....she has exhibited agressive behavior and i feel that i am verbally harassed and stalked. So much more, but the bottom line is: what are my rights (i have not directly paid for rent) and liability (as isigned the lease) and do i have remedies should she continue her behavior till she is incarcerated. i am trying to find housing...actually since i came here in april....thank you for your time...

Get the alternator output checked, it sounds as if there is an issue of power, also be worth having the battery condition checked, regards Mike

First, go under the car and make sure that the sending wire from the tank is connected (It will be on top of the tank, look for it going up to the top, and jiggle any wires. If they come loose, bad sign.) Then, go check to see if any fuses are out/blown. You never know. Finally, take it in, and ask them to look at the dash. Make it certain that you will be standing behind them, watching to make sure it wasn't their fault.
