Why would an email constantly download time after time

This is probably a problem with the app itself.
If you hold your finger on it so that all the icons start wiggling and then tap the cross in the corner of the icon it will remove the app from your apple device.
Download it again from the app store and it should be working again.

i dont think you r sending them yahoo mail sends adds eavery time you send a email all of them do thats how they stay free

Have him set up his own email account for free with hot mail or gmail. You can select these emails and send them to the spam file. Your email server may allow you to call them spam and filter them out.

what model blackberry do you have? what id like you to do is from the main screen(your gonna need both hands on the phone) is hold the ALT+ right CAPS button and then press the "H". a menu should pop up that says "HELP ME!"

The battery drains so quickly because it maintains a constant connection to the network via a data uplink and downlink.Meaning its like continously talking on ur mobile phone. With Push email, the device is constantly connecting to the network which means its downloading data (which is ur email) on a regualr basis. And thus is draining the battery faster.
Put it to the test!!! turn ur push email off and you will find that the battery will last for 3 days

The best solution is to buy an extra battery and keep it handy in your car.
