Question about Nikon Speedlight SB-600 TTL Flash
I use a Nikon SB600 with my Nikon D200. The flash is suddenly firing by itself?? Any ideas?
I had the same problem. I have sent my D200 to Nikon France for repair and they solved the problem.

I have a Nikon SB-600 and a Nikon D200 and noticed that the flash suddenly fired by itself and I discovered that I was bumping the depth of field button by mistake. To get rid of this I went into the flash menu on the camera and switched off the modeling lamp that is set to on by default.
hope this is of help to you.

I have sent my SB-600 to Nikon twice in the past 6 months to resolve this problem. They have fixed it both times, but never told me what the problem was. I've had it back for exactly 1 day now, and it's started back up again already. If I receive a solution (or replacement), I'll let you know!
