I received an MF6530 printer for X-Mas and there was NO CD printer rom. Please help me to load the software in my HP as ive spent the last 169.00 on a toner cart.

The above software should be able to be run by inserting the cd-rom into your cd-rom or dvd-rom drive.

Once installed you'll be able to run the scanner.

Click on your Operating system and it will redirect you to the exact download's link. Please make sure to save a copy of the files to your Desktop/Hard Drive or CD-Rom for future use.

Vista has identified your printer. It loads up its default printer driver (stored in vista OS) in your new computer. This usually have the basic features only. You need to run again the CD to install or enable the added features of your said printer. For the the CD that was crumbled inside your cd-rom. You can try to pull out the CD from the Tower casing and try yo maually open the CD rom unit itself. Or may i suggest that you can buy a new one. (CD/DVD roms are cheaper now a days)

The causes of CD crashing inside your CD rom;

1. wrong placement of CD/DVD disc
2. Hardware failure of the CD/DVD roms

if you have download the driver you should be able to install with out the CD rom drive

you will need to go to www.hp.com support and drivers type in the the model office jet 6110 then the version of software click it and choose you operating system and down load software. I have included a link that should get you there.

First do not plug the Printer USB cable

Start Installation and then when Setup asks to connect the USB cable Plugin to your system.
Make sure the Printer is connected and Powered ON during the initial setup.

5. Restart the computer

In case you have McAfee anti Virus software install please make sure that it is not blocking the HP setup EXE files.

"...manual driver update..." ... from the device's included driver disk? Or from a web-source? If web-source, how long ago and from where?
"...it found the hardware but was still unable to load driver software..." ... So Windows does recognize it then? Unable to load what .. the driver(s)?
"...Vista just isn't recognizeing my CD-ROM at all" ... ??? If I understand correctly, Windows "device manager" recognizes when its deleted, then refreshed, but Vista doesn't recognize it? By this do you mean it's icon does not show up in "My Computer"?
