Lost power... outlet is hot so it is in the fridge that the problem is...

Did you try an other electrical outlet? Can you test the outlet has any voltage?
does the fridge have an on / off switch? I don't think so, so if nothing works also check the cable and the plug going in the outlet.

It sounds like you've plugged your fridge into a GFI (ground fault interrupter) outlet.

The National Electrical Code (NEC) article 210.8 A (6) says in dwelling units, only those outlets in a kitchen (I'm assuming your fridge is in the kitchen - right?) "where the receptacles are installed to serve the countertop surfaces" must be provide ground fault protection aka "GFI outlet". Unless your town, city, county or state has laws that supersede the NEC, you should have the outlet changed to a standard, grounded outlet to prevent the nuisance tripping you are experiencing when the cooling compressor is trying to start. A refrigerator is not a counter surface appliance, and therefore does not require GFI protection.

The other outlets are fed from this outlet, so when you connect the fridge to another outlet on the circuit, the same GFI plug trips again. When you replace the GFI plug with a "regular one, the GFI plug should be installed in another outlet to provide the GFI protection needed in the kitchen - as described in the NEC above. If you are not familiar with how to do this, please, call a licensed electrician to do this very important job for you. Be safe & be smart.

Many RVs / Coaches have the fridge power receptacle protected by a GFCI outlet that is located in the kitchen, perhaps bathroom, areas. Check to see if this outlet is tripped. If it isn't, try plugging a lamp into the fridge outlet to see if it works.

If it does, then the control board may have gotten spiked by a converter surge while power was being lost (also a sign of a failing converter). You can also measure the resistance of the heating element with a multimeter. You should see about 44 ohms (give or take 10%). If the heating element is out of tolerance, the fridge won't use it, but it should throw a code indicating a problem.

If the outlet doesn't work, look for other dead outlets in your coach. Double check GFCI outlets, make sure they are not tripped. And, of course, make sure that all your breakers are turned on, and not partially tripped as well.

something might be wrong with the wiring that connects the power wire to the fridge. better have someone professional take a look at it as it's a delicate solution. Better yet, try plugging the fridge somewhere else, maybe your current plugging socket has problems.

It could be a loose connection where the power cord is connected to the refrigerator inside or a bad power cord. If that doesn't solve the problem you may consider calling a repair person.

Yes ,, if the fridge outlet is behind the fridge and therefore not accessible for use by counter top appliances .. then yes change it to a regular outlet.
The cause is probably the compressor, getting a bit noisy..electrical noise I mean.

First , check if is power in the outlet where the fridge is plugged in by plugging something you know works (table light , radio,etc.) , if it doesn't work , means there's not power at the outlet what could be a trpped breaker , burnt fuse , burnt or loose wire at the outlet, or a bad outlet ; but if you got power in the outlet , probably the fridge cord or its plug are bad.

most gfci are 15 amp draws
its quite possible your refer needs 19 or more to start
i would reccommend getting the unit of gfci plug

plug something else into outlet and see if it works your outlet/ wiring maybe bad if it works your power cord for fridge maybe bad have a short in it if outlet or cord is bad call eletrictian
