Have no sound on medion 8.1 notebook

Try and find out what the manufacturer and model of the camera is and search the manufacturer's site or the internet for Windows 8 drivers. There is not much else you can do. The notebook was designed for Windows 7 and there are not very many Windows 8 hardware device drivers available.

try right clicking my computer then device manager see if you have a yellow question mark if its there you need to download its driver if its all good then try fn + the blue antenna on f 8

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question / exclamation? ! mark or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers

if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it

or you might download slimdrivers

rather doing a driver hunt

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager any yellow? ! question marks or red x will tell you that you need to reinstall the driver/s
to do this right click on the ? x ! select reinstall driver
the drivers might have been corrupted by something or you might have got a virus run your antivrus program
as for the sound
control panel sounds and audio,volume you can adjust the volume or advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the right speakers or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll to sound,video and game cotrollers could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers

sound is not transfered through hdmi from a laptop you will need another lead for sound which is a 3.5mm jack to rca / phono the phono plugs in to the red and white sockets on your tv

go to device manager and go to properties or option and then check the brodcast box

I found a number of drivers for your Medion. I coudent find the driver on Medions homepage. You can use a very good program like AIDA32 to find the model of your Sound card.
