You can do this a few ways
1. use your usb or bluetooth connection, which has been the most pain in the **** for me, and once you get a connection going, it usually is pretty self explanitory, with a wizard, or clearly labeled folders for you to deal with and transfer to/from.
2. Send the pictures to your email, then save them to your computer from there. (By far, the easiest, if you are even slightly familiar with sending text/pic messages.) Just put your email address in the "To" or "Recipient" box at the beginning of the message on your phone, pick the picture you want to send, and hit send. That's it. Easy.
3. Lastly, if your phone is one that takes a memory card (micro or mini sd) you can either put one in or if you have one already, (if you don't, and might be interested in getting one, you can usually find them for less than 10 bucks for decent memory size, and they always come with adapters that will fit in most cameras, pcs, anything that takes an sd card,) make sure that the pictures are saved to the card, in your phone settings, it will usually be the "memory" option, then will show phone memory and card memory, play around with the options and settings from here, and make sure that the pic is saved to the card (you might have to move it from phone memory to card memory). Take the card out of your phone, slip the mini or micro into the adapter that comes with it, and you're ready to put it into your computer just like you would the card from your camera.
You can either connect with a direct cable or via blue tooth.with the v3 you will need to download drivers for you phone connection. You will know its working when you connect you phone to our pc and it starts charging.Bluetooth will be much easier though...
