Our GLEQ2152ES dryer began making a soft knocking noise about a week or so ago. Now has become a very loud knocking noise when on! We've already replaced the main board on it, now what??!! It's 3 years old!

YOU replaced the driveshaft ... or did you pay somebody else to replace it? Are you sure it was actually replaced?

I have the same problem; pulled it apart and discovered the drum was cracked at the seam where it was welded. the noise occurs as it passes over the wheels the drum rests on. called LG's Cusomer Diservice and nobody was interested. found the same problems by others while searching myself so its clearly a manufacturing problem.
