Most times, when switched on the computer will show the ACER screen (which is supposed to have the F2 option at the bottom) but doesn't have the F2 option. It then carries on but comes up with NO OPERATING SYSTEM FOUND. If I carry on trying, switching OFF and back ON again, eventually it will give the F2 option on the ACER screen. I then have to select F2 and go into Bios, select 'save and exit' and then let it boot up. It then works! If I don't select F2 when it comes up, the computer carries on but still comes up with NO OPERATING SYSTEM. It has to be a HDD problem because I have already substituted the HDD with a known good one from an identicle computer and it worked. I then cloned the good disk onto the original disk, including boot up info. It still has exactly the same problem?!
SOURCE: my laptop does not work it says PXE-E61:Media
Put 'Hard Drive C:' before 'Network' in the boot order
(If the hard drive does not appear in the boot order, that's why the PXE network boot agents start)
Note : Check that the hard drive is seen in the BIOS setup
Cause:
PXE (pronounce Pixie) is an agent used to boot on to the network
It's using the DHCP protocol to localise a server where the image of the OS is located
In order to PXE boot press F12 at startup or configure the boot order in BIOS to display 'Network' before 'Hard Drive C:'
If, for any reason, the hard drive is not seen the computer will attempt to boot on the network controller.
That is caused by the hard drive is missing, unplugged or failed

SOURCE: while browsing net r watching movies my lap(acer extensa 4630)shut down itself
The processor has to perform large amount of work while surfing , especially while usingvideos and animationMultiple windows/tabsnumber of browserwhich in turn produces lot of heat . The heat produced is managed by the interneal heat sink and inbuilt cooling fans. But this cooling process may get affected by the blockage in air vents due to dust.So to safeguard the laptop form overheat, it automatically shuts down.
One simple try :Go to the Adobe flash properties and disable Hardware acceleration for online content. That ought to stop the system from rebooting or crashing.
Else...Its better to call a technician when it shuts down often.....
