My hp 7540 display monitor is black screen when I power on

I am not sure i understand you problem 100%, but from what i see your screen just stays black when you power up your pc.
The easiest trouble shooting step is if you have another screen available to you. If you do then try another screen on that computer and see if it stays black too.
If it is black as well but you know that the screen works on another computer then you probably have a problem with your motherboard or video card.
Are you using a video card or is the vga\dvi plug right on the motherboard?

I have a dell vostro 1000 laptop when i turn on the computer the screen just stay black no light on the screen it just stay black but i can hear the sound that it was on i just could not seen any thing.

Have you accidentally turned off your lcd? Some laptops have a shortcut key for turning off the lcd, usually the FN key combined with the function keys (F1 to F12). If you have a spare monitor and your laptop has a VGA output, try connecting your laptop to another monitor. If it shows up, then you may have a faulty lcd.

Hello, My Asus P4P800 SE motherboard has stopped recognizing my monitor LG Flatron 22'' . I have 2 PCs connected by a KVM switch. When I boot machine A, the monitor stays black. When I put the video card...

test both machines one at a time on the monitor without the kvm switch then hook up the kvm switch to machine A if all works well power off then hook up machine B and see what happens, it maybe that the switch is set to the other pc than the one you want to use first so the screen stays black untill its switched over

Pc boots and stays on the black screan

The current configuration of the Skystar card is probably trying to use the same interrupt as your video or there is another hardware conflict between your PCI card and something else in the system. Boot into BIOS without the Skystar card in the machine and go to the PCI options. Tell it to reset the PnP information (actually happens on the next reboot). Exit and save the changes but shut off the computer without allowing it to boot up. Install the Skystar card and turn on the computer. The BIOS should reconfigure all of your Plug and Play hardware to automatically eliminate any hardware conflicts and the system should come up normally.

I installed 2GB ram pc doesnt start, i mean it starts but the screen stays black and the dvd station's light thing turns on and off

Will it actually recognise 2GB of ram? That could be your problem. Mine will only recognise 1.5GB. If I put in 2GB, it causes problems. More isn't always better.
