.I need a power cord for my Sony Bravia Television

Do a Power Reset.

1. Turn off the TV.
2. Unplug the power cord of the TV from the electrical outlet.
3. Let the TV remain without power for 60 seconds.
4. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet. (If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.)
5. Turn on the TV.

If the issue still persists after performing power reset, that may be an indication that the TV needs service. You may refer to this link to locate the nearest Sony authorized service center in your area.

Actually try one more thing before concluding that there is something wrong with the sound board or one of the wires in it on this Sony Bravia television. The cable box settings might not be just right for this television. Are you currently set to pcm or bitstream on this cable box? pcm might also be displayed as 2 ch 48 or 96 khz. Play around with the sound settings and see if one or the other will solve this sound issue before writing off the television.

I suggest that you check the cords again and see if they are loose. The same thing happened with my sony HD television and I found out the cords had not been plugged in completely. Also check the display settings and TV settings by using your remote. If these do not work, try getting your television checked by a repairman as maybe he could fix your television set.

Tv power supply board is having problems,that the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Unplug the power cord for 30 min, plug back in and turn on.

Should ths not work seek repair or replacement

Power supply problems. check SMPs and other feed back voltage signals.

I had the same problem with a old Sony TV.

To find out if the problem is temporary

1. Turn off the television.

IMPORTANT: For a projection television that uses an internal lamp, wait 5 minutes after turning off the television to allow the lamp to cool before continuing with the following steps.

2. Unplug the television power cord from the electrical outlet.

3. Let the television remain without power for 60 seconds.

4. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.

5. Turn on the television.

If the light is still flashing the tv has stop working and you will need to buy a new one.
