I want to install the DEH-3700MP in my car I forgot which wire go to what speaker. I know that the wires with the black stripe is the negative.  Dan

Red is ignition yellow is battery black is ground blue is Remote turn on orange is illumination if it has one.... speaker wires are white and white with black stripe our front as is gray and gray with black stripe back speakers are purple with black stripe and green green with black stripe.

normally the speaker wires have a matching coloured wire with a black strip and are distinct from power (red/yellow) , ground (brown/black), aerial (blue) , remote power etc. Not always the same but sometimes grey/grey with black stripe, green, green with black stripe.

Positive = Yellow
Switched Positive = Red
Negative = Black.

If you are speaking of the SPEAKER wires...
The black striped ones are the negatives.

constant is yellow . switched ignition is red. ground is black. amp remote is blue white. illumination is orange. speakers are gray front right. white is front left. green is rear left. purple is rear right. all speaker wires have a match with a black stripe.black stripe is negitive

Yellow for memory.
Red for power acc.
Black for ground.
Blue for remote turn on(amps and accessories).
Gray pair is for right front speakers, solid for positive,striped for negative.
White pair for Left front, again solid is pos, striped is neg.
Violet or purple for right rear, same with solid or striped.
Green pair for left rear, same solid/stripe configuration.

red- accessory
yellow-constant power
black -ground
blue with white stripe-romote ''if any
blue- power antenna

do you have RCA wires? yellow is for video and red and white is for audio.that is the standard color coding. you can do it
