My cat LOVES to eat little black ants and their eggs. (So gross) Are they harmful to him? I free feed him so its not due to hunger.

if the cat has been doing this for a while then it is not harmful to it or it would be showing some distress or sickness
take it to a vet as it may not be getting all that it needs in the diet and you may have to change the diet to a better balanced meal

Introdusing a old cat to a new cat

Make sure you separate the newbie in a separate space/room for at least 14 days to make sure new kitty isn't sick and doesn't get your current kitty sick. Make sure new goes to the vet to get the right vaccines. See link for details. After 14 day separation I would switch cats from one room to the other so they can smell each other and return. Then let them sniff under door. Then I would be two baby gates so they can't climb over until they get to know each other. Hope you adopted/rescued and not bought the new kitty

Hi, i have and oriental simese black cat and adopted her 5 years ago, she has been fixed and for the past 4 weeks she poos and whets my bed, my carpets ect, i have not changed her sand her box is still in...

I was told by a vet that often if they are sick or in pain they will associate the pain with the litterbox and thus avoid it.

She could be in pain or sick so I would definitely take her to the vet to eliminate anything medical as the cause.

If everything checks out at the vet, they may be able to give you some additional pointers as to why the cats behavior has changed.

Hope that helps!

My cat is 2 years old, she had a litter of 4 kittens they all do have new homes they are 7 weeks old. Sokkies is still very swolen and hard all around her nipples what should i do?

If they swells and becomes red and painful take her to the vet to check for Mastitis which is a bacterial infection in the milk ducts of female cats and can get very sick and die.

Also make sure cats are with mother for 10 weeks to properly learn things.

Also please spay your cat, approximately 7.6 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year and millions of cats are euthanized.

My cat got sick on the top of my 360. It stoped working. Can I fix it

Lesson learned here. No pets on game systems! Even pet hair getting sucked in by the fan can destroy them. Unfortunately the mainboard probably got wet from some sort of bodily fluid from the animal. This will need to be sent to a repair shop. There is no promise that it can be repaired. JBGAMING.COM is a good repair source.

What are the benefits of a raw diet for cats?

Cats are obligate carnivores, which means their natural diet is strictly raw meat ONLY. Cats biologically need the complete amino acid chain that is supplied in animal protein. Vegetables have amino acids but are missing certain parts, dogs and humans have the biological ability to synthesize the missing amino acid in vivo but cats can not. So long story short, no vegetables are not good for cats
