Question about Sony Ericsson K750i Cellular Phone

Phone not taking photos

I have K 750i phone when I take the photos the screen says "Open the lense cover" when open the lens cover is open it shows on screen and I cannot get photos please solve the problem

Do a master reset, menu/setting/scroll down to master reset and reset all. if that does not work then you may have to flash the firmware on the phone this can be done by taking the phone to a mobile service center or going online to

Open lens cover problem

you should see a sticky strand along the bottom and edges of the lense cover grab a blow dryer and put it under the blowdryer for about a minute anda half with hot air and put back on phone with pressure i would reccomend to get a duster can and a screen whip so that way you dont have any blemeshes

I have the same problem i think its to do with the switches on the back of the phone under the cover breaking

Camera on standby open lens cover

take off the lens cover?, the cover blocking the actual camera lense, this is preventing the startup of the camera or your getting a black screen window right, or slide the cover that over the lense across

This Seems to Be a Fault With Your Phone And May Not Be Able To Be Fixed unless done Professionally.
1. Take The Back cover Off your Phone And Take the Battery out Then close the lens cover, then put the battery bakc in then go onto camera and open your lenz, this might work, if not then your camera might not work. thankyou,

Download Microsoft Active Sync which may help, I take it that you have also installed the Sony Ericsson software that came with your phone?

With regards to your camera, do you know if the rear cover of the phone has been removed at any time??

If it has then there is a chance that the small switch for the lens cover has been damaged which will stop the activation of the phone.

I cant take photos

ok.under the lens cover there is a small switch which may lose it's place.
to find it remove the batterry cover , remove the two screws on the body of lens cover,then remove the rear cover (plastic and metal-one body) and you''ll find the tiny switch.Put it in a right place to work when lens cover open.
