How do i get my new laptop to run any operating system it keeps telling me i am a guest

If you are on a computer that you usually use, and you get this message, it means that the Operating System startup files are corrupted, or erased. If you want to upgrade your PC to a new operating system, you need

1. to get a DVD of the new operating system,
2. Put it in your DVD drive
3. Turn on your computer. When your computer is turning on, press the F?? key that is displayed on your monitor when it starts up that says "Boot menu"
4. When the boot menu appears, tell your computer to boot from the DVD. When it finds the DVD, it will start your computer with the new operating system. Some operating systems allow you to repair your desktop/laptop, if the DVD is the same operating system that is on your desktop/laptop.

as you know on Guest account you can't do much of the stuff, so use the Administrator's account or create a new one for yourself.

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. A few basic questions first. What Operating System are you using. As a general rule with windows operating systems the restore desktop appears to allow you to correct changes that are preventing the OS from operating correctly. Have you installed any new software recently? New Drivers?

You can't transfer an operating system to a new hard drive, you must install it. When you install an operating system, it makes specific files depending on all of your hardware, including your hard drive. Your restore disks should be fine to reinstall Windows on your new hard drive. Just use a backup program to backup all of the data you want to keep since it won't be there on your new drive. Try running this program.

Try if you can make it in to command promt
To see the accounts in your computer
type: net users

now you should see the user accounts in your computer

To change password
type: net users [] *

* []= your user name

To add new account
type: net users [] /add

*[]= your user name

This is the only thing I can think of.

Run one of these programs to reset your accounts.
