Problem for LG V181 DVD Player / VCR Combo

Hi, the bit that you put the dvd onto either: a) will not open b) or when it does open and you put your dvd onto it - it slides open again c) and sometimes it stays closed but will not play the dvd - movies or music.
I have no idea what the problem is but I know its really annoying!! I would appreciate your advise. Its only just 2 years old and has not had very much use.
