No sound from speakers

There can be any of the two problem. When you play a sound file, if it shows an error message, try reinstalling Audio driver. If it shows like playing and if there is no sound from the speaker problem, then it is a speaker problem.

I have a set of boston ba735 speakers that i got with my gateway computer and i tried hooking them up to my mac computer and i'm not getting any sound

Correct me if I am wrong but these are USB speakers and as such need the correct drivers / software to run them.

USB speakers can be very finicky to set up and use but once working are usually quite good.

They are not my preference. Real speakers are so much better and can be placed to take best advantage of the sound they produce whereas USB ones cannot.

No sound from X-540 speakers

are you getting power out of the speakers? tried them elsewhere? maybe the port burned out on the board and an audio card maybe needed. try an audio card and see if that works and return to best buy (if you have one near you) if thats not the problem. you can try to reset your motherboard to default values? if the computer shows your drivers working properly then maybe its the speakers. ive seen tht happen to good speakers. its a bummer deal!

How to hook up Philips mms 321 to a laptop via usb

I don't know of any interface that goes from speaker wires to USB. I think that we should go another way. You know soundblaster has many cards that will let you hook those speakers right up and its a very easy installation. I myself have Bose speakers hooked up to my soundblaster card and its wonderful. You can peruse the soundblaster cards here.
Its really easy to do and it will allow you to have great sound that you can configure for very high quality stereo.

I hope this helps. please remember to rate me.

Acer speakers no sound

You should tell the model of your acer or the sound card on it so that i can serach it for you. However you can search it by your own by simply going to the acer website and then search the model of your laptop and the go to the support and downloads. or selet your location and search your model.

may this help. melnavz

Z10 USB connection does not work

My symptoms were that the speakers stopped working all of a sudden. Display showed power but gave no access to volume adjustment and did not play sounds.

I read a vague comment by another poster and it worked!
They said to unplug it from the power plug and leave it overnight before replugging it in...... at first I dismissed this, and tried everything else to no resolution. I was ready to return the speakers but decided to unplug it and see... Bingo********! in the morning

Z-10 is now back in action.
