My Nintendo DS lite keeps messing up. it will play for 10 - 20 mins. or so, then it will freeze. (i tried it with three different DS games so it is definetly not the game
Hi i had a similar problem i opened up the casing and there are acouple of wires with a press stud type fitting witch i pressed one of them felt like it clicked so it could be a loose wire i also cleaned and blew the dust ect ect as per this forum and the ds is much much better it still freezes but very intermittently say once a week but that could be just a cartridge thing hope this helps
Okay if your constantly getting freezeups even after my ideas then that means the mainboard is bad, so unless your ds is under warranty and you can get the board replaced, the ds is bad.

you mean turn on the DS and take out the battery before i select the game? if so i am trying it as i type this. (and something else, it ONLY froze if i PLAYED the game. if i left it on and left it alone it was fine).
i tried it, and yes, it still freezes. plz tell me you have an answer for this! becuase i don't have any money to spend on repairs, much less a new DS. plz respond quickly i have an advance wars tournament next week and i really want to play!
Try taking the battery out, then blow in the empty area, this is normally the problem with mine.
ARE YOU GOING TO RESPOND!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!???
Try playing your games with just the ac adapter hooked up and make sure your battery is disconnected. We want to make sure your DS can turn on and we also want to make sure your battery isn't shorting out the games as well. Try it and let me know.
