I met the same trouble, i just reset acer password by the following steps, Step1.Download Smartkey Windows Password Recoveryfrom recoverlostpassword.com anddecompress it on that PC. There is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to CD or USBFlash Driver.Step2.Get out the newly created CDor USB Flash Driver and insert it to the locked computer.Step3. Re-boot the locked computerand then follow the process of instructions. Just after a few steps, the oldpassword will be removed.It can recover all Windows version.
Your situation might have happened during logging in or while using Find Friends.
If it had happened during logging in, then you need to provide the e-mail ID and the Password you provided during Facebook signup.My guess is you would have entered password of your mail account in Facebook.
If it is during 'Find Friends', then you might have entered wrong password for your mail id.
You can contact facebook to discuss the issue. The most common reason they have you change the password is either because of security updates or because of unauthorized attempts to access your accounts.
Now if for some reason it does not accept a new password you may want to reset your internet browser.
