Question about Roper REX5635E Dryer

Electric cooker not working.

I have Black & Decker electric rice cooker. It stopped functioning today. After I plugged it in, the light is not on. When I pressed the knob for cooking, the knob doesn't stay and the cooker doesn't work. If any of you know any solution for this, please let me know.

Have an electric LG dryer that stopped working. The internal light was out first. Checked fuse, plug, lint.

It's probably power supply related, check warranty. Should be easily diagnosed by electrician or someone who knows how to use multimeter. I would start there. Also, is the electric "clean" in the home? Surges, bad grounds in circuit will wreak havoc on electronics. Hope this helps.

The dryer is turning, but it isnt getting hot. I put a new cord on it!

Is this dryer electric or gas heated...if electric...did you wire it properly...electric dryers use 220 VAC and have a very large plug on them...usually there is a black, red. white, and green wire...the white is neutral, the green is ground and the red, black are the L1 and L2 hot leads...these need to be wired to the 2 hot terminals in order for the dryer to function properly

My electric GE dryer stopped working today, when

sounds like the motor is running, the belt could likely be broken and be the culprit, this is if the motor is turning for sure after you start the dryer

Dryer won't come on. it is plugged in and the outlet and breaker checked out ok.

are you getting voltage when you say you checked outlet? is it a gas or electric dryer? should have 220 or so at dryer for electric and 120 for gas. if voltage ok, trace it through to fuse most likely. no light in dryer means no voltage...

Dryer will not work, has electrical power, but does not light up

look for a fuse mounted beside the heater element. small black with 2 white wires attached, open and the dryer don work, but wait thers more... look into the blower assembly for blockage of lint or loose blower.

Dryer does not turn on

Sounds like the motor relay is not functioning. Sometimes the motor will work if the button is pushed but will stop when the button is released. This is caused by a loose wire at the motor or a bad motor relay.

Asko T781 Electric Dryer Doesn't Turn On

Have you reset the cut out on the back? its a little black button that you push in until it clicks. If it does not click, then it probably wasnt the problem. The next most likely cause is a melted fuse holder inside the box on the rear where the power cord goes in. There is a bypass kit available to repair this problem from ASKO, as the fuses are not needed. If you are able to do some simple wiring, you can do this. Otherwise find an AUTHORIZED asko servicer and they will know what I'm talking about. Good luck!
