Go to eBay.com and type in "LCD replacement screen for Magellan" Right now, I am not finding one for your 1610, however, there are many dealers (mostly out of China and Hong Kong) and there will probably be one that pops up soon. They can be a little tricky to thread the ribbon in, so if you have a tech savvy friend, I suggest you get them to do it for you.

Good morning, My friend asked me to look into a problem with her Magellan Roadmate 1400. The screen comes on but the touchscreen no longer works.

If the touchscreen no longer works, she would need a new digitizer on her unit. Call magellan customer service to get an RMA set up to replace the digitizer.

Magellan Readmate 22007 turns on, but won't leave

try the reset if you havent already, if that fails or you dont know how, just respond to this post..the update might cure it, but it sounds like the digitizer (the touch part of the lcd) is out.

if thats the case and you want help getting a new one (digitizer) just reply to this post.
