Problem for Pioneer DV-285-S DVD Player
Blinking Timer Light

Same as other guy, blinking timer light and unit won't power on.
Does not respond to anything except the power button(on the unit and the remote) after about 10-15 seconds when initially plugged in. Hear a clicking sound and there seems to be a discharge of electricity and the timer light goes out. After about 3 seconds and the light comes back on. Waiting another 10-15 seconds and you can repeat.
Replaced the fuse but that wasn't the issue. Also let it sit unplugged and plugged for respective 24 hour periods but no change.
