Mitsubishi airtrek june 2001 location of computer box if any

The Engine Control Module (ECM) on a 2001 Mitsubishi Airtrek is typically located in the engine compartment, near the battery. The exact location can vary depending on the specific model and engine type.
In general, the Engine Control Module (ECM) is usually located in one of the following places:
  • On the driver's side, near the firewall
  • On the passenger side, near the firewall
  • On top of the engine, near the intake manifold
It's recommended that you consult your vehicle's service manual for the exact location of the Engine Control Module (ECM) in your car

My 2003 mitsubishi airtrek with 4g63 engine cattles when in 4th gear but as soon as i apply more gas it stops forcing me to drive at a higher speed than i want to why is this.

Try selecting higher octane grade of petrol. The "clatter" is likely detonation in the cylinder that can be caused by low octane

Hi where can I access a wiring diagram for a Mitsubishi (Airtrek) Outlander. Fuel pump relay to ECM. Thankyou

My personal suggestion would be to go for these repair catalogs. I know this website www.reliable-store.com that i used to buy them from, and they sold online
it was very good manual. Go ahead, I bet.

Mitsubishi Airtrek 2001 steering wheel has dropped right down.

There's a lever on the underside of the steering column. Pull this down, push the column up to where you want it, and then push the locking lever back up. Have a look in your Owners Manual if you have one.

My Mitsubishi Airtrek, is charging the batter at the rate of 14.5 Volts, is this to high and how do I remedy it.

No, this is perfectly normal. The alternator should put out between 13.5 −16 volts. You have no problem.
