A red exclamation point means there was a problem with sending your email. You can click on the mark to see further information about the problem. Most likely, you will have to check you email settings and correct the problem. You can, alternately, delete that account and create a totally new version of that account. The most likely error is entering the password incorrectly. Depending on who your email provider is, you may, instead, have incorrect outgoing email information. You would have to check with your provider to determine the correct settings.

I have several e-mails stuck in my outbox with a red exclamation mark on them. What does that mean and must I now forward them to get them sent?

You must open each email and resend it.

My server had a problem with e-mails and now I have a lot of e-mails sitting in my outbox with a red exclamation mark on them. Now, do I need to resend those by forwarding them or what?

You have to open each one separately and resend it. If you continue to have problems, check your password, or your outgoing email settings.

From turn of new year i can't send emails going straight to outbox.

I had this happen to me on my Nexus pad. Any emails written when I was connected to a wifi, would stay there just about forever in my outbox. When I got off the wifi and put it on internet provider only, the emails were sent immediately. Don't know why or how this happens, but it did and still does... Try switching off your WIFI connection and resend. It may work.

How do I delete a blocking sent email on my ipad?

This is one way I've found to delete an email stuck in the outbox (which is what it "sounds like" you are asking...)

1. change ya smtp settings so the message defo wont send!
2. send a test email to anyone
3. it will attempt to send but oversiously fail...
4. hopefully the outbox should be listed with 1 message waiting to go out...
5. if not, try going into the Activity Window and canceling the send command, that should show it up...
6. click the Outbox and the will be one message listed...
7. goto View -> then Show Favourites Bar
8. you should see a favourites bar appear...
9. simply drop and drag the Outbox into your favourites bar...
10. if you restart ur laptop or close mail and then the Outbox has disappeard, simply click the Outbox in you favourites tab and woop woop it should appear in the Side Bar

How do you get emails stuck in outbox to be sent?

Once you know you are in an arts with a strong enough signal, re-sync. It should not only check for new, but also send all waiting emails.

Problem NOT t.v....tab 3 tablet. when hitting send.. message goes to OUTBOX..not familiar with outbox..cannot release message to send. stays in outbox, message unsent..

Your problem is not with the tablet but with the email client. You need to connect the client on the tablet with a valid email account that you have elsewhere. The email account will have details to help you do this.

Why does my tablet when i turn it on it has a battery sign with an explanation mark inside it and will not turn on

The exclamation mark means that your tablet has no battery left. You should try plugging your tablet in for a few hours before turning it on (if it doesn't turn on by itself.) If that doesn't work and you still see the exclamation mark, I suggest that you ensure the charger is properly plugged in to the socket and that its properly attached to the tablet.
