Question about Pioneer DEH-P6900UB CD Player
I have a DEH-P6900UB which I'm using to control a 5G ipod video. After around one month of working perfectly, the pioneer unit does not recognise the ipod. Whilst music can play, the ipod must be controlled manually, and the pioneer display reads "Error -11". I looked this error up in the documentation, and it supposedly corresponds to a communication error. Any thoughts on why this would suddenly start happening or how to fix it?
My suggestion is that the ipod-connector is bad. Try changing the ipod connector. If that doesn't work, unplug your Pioneer device for 24 hours, and then plug it back in. This will reset all the configuration options and should reset the devices that it recognizes. If that doesn't work, try calling Pioneer's support.
