I cleaned my unit a week ago, removed the plate inside and replaced it with a spare I had. When I put everything back together, the unit run just fine, however, it appears there is a problem with the unit, because I do not get the clean air smell in my house. I am not sure if this is a lack of ionization or another problem and I have no idea if something on the unit needs to be replaced or repaired. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have a similar situation. I noticed a "sparking" sound when it was running on high. I went to replace the plate and it broke. I know I need a new plate but there was no smell before this happened. It is probably the same problem as you are having. I do not have a manual so I don't know where to start. I also did something else. I took the filtet off while it was running...then noticed the warning not to do this. Is there a reset on this or will it reset itself? I love the unit and it is the only one so far that has really worked. I hope someone can help with this. Thanks.
I have the same problem. I have cleaned unit. The fuse is working the fan is working but the light indicators are not on. so there is no ozone being produced
Make sure you have the filter on the back on the right way and not reversed. On the Ecoquest Breeze you should plainly see the obvious pull tab, at the top of the back filter panel, after putting the filter back in place.
