How to resolve your meter when it's on temper mode

Tamper mode means the prepaid meter is in a mode where it does not supply power. Check your meter remote controller (used for recharging units). If it displays a Relay Open symbol, the meter is in tamper mode.

To remove tamper mode requires you contact the distributing company and request a tamper reset token. The tamper reset token is a 20-digit code that clears the meter from tamper mode and restores it to its default state.

How to override the power off being allowed while in child lock for the Rinnai Avenger 25

There is no advanced program that lets you disable the On/Off button on the control panel of the heater. For models with a remote, the standby button is locked when the control lock is active.

There are two solutions that I can think of for your situation. 1) Put a child/pet gate system in front of the heater and attach it to the wall past the sides of the heater. (I think one of the large space hallway gate systems that can be adjusted to fit with multiple angles might work. Just keep it far enough away from the heater to avoid any ventilation/overheating problems.) 2) Upgrade to a permanently installed wall mounted propane heater. Use one that can be controlled by a 120V thermostat for wall heaters. Mount the thermostat above the reach of the child.

I hope this helps.

Child opened lid of 2081x micro spa controller and pulled all wires off pins can anybody pro vide photo of inside box

You need more than a photo. That would be helpful but a circuit and wiring diagram would be better and you might get that from the manufacturer.
A bigger worry is a child being able to do this. I would be onto the manufacturer about the safety of the unit and what they can do to help. Perhaps suggest they need a product recall if it is that easy to tamper with by a child. ( that would put the cat in the pidgeons - but it could have been a lethal situation in mains voltage land)

I getting onkyo ht s5400 before 10 days. Surrounding sound is faulty, They are not working properly.

If your amplifier is ONLY 10 days old. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAMPER AS ONKYO WILL NOT ACCEPT WARRANTY CLAIMS. So please check if the speakers are connected and the mode set to surround, use a DVD with DTH CD and if there is no sound then try to reset- refer manual- if not power off for 6 hours , if faulty then contact service.

How do I use the Child Lock option on Samsung WF-B1456GW?

Hi there,

You can use the child lock feature in 2 ways.

1. To prevent operation of the washing machine when no wash cycle is running

To set this feature, switch the machine on using the POWER button at the top-left of the control-panel. Next, press and hold both the SPIN and RINSE buttons for about 3 seconds - until the child lock light indicator on the control panel illuminates. All functions of the washing machine will now be disabled apart from POWER ON/OFF until such time as the child lock is deactivated.

To deactivate the child lock, press and hold the SPIN and RINSE buttons again until the child lock light indicator on the control panel goes out.

2. To prevent any tiny fingers from tampering with the machine while a program is running.

After pressing the START/PAUSE button to start the wash cycle, press and hold the SPIN and RINSE buttons until the child lock light indicator illuminates. All buttons on the control panel will now be disabled until the child lock has been disabled. When the wash cycle has finished, you will need to switch the child lock off again to reactivate the buttons. Once you have finished using the washer, reactivate the child lock again before switching the power off as above.

The feature can also be used when using the delayed start feature, but needs to be set after pressing the START/PAUSE button.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Regards,
BElectric

Honeywell Surround HZ2200 / HZ2204 /

A link to an Adobe (Acrobat) Reader format (.pdf) owner's manual for Honeywell® (Mini Tower) SURROUND HEAT™ HEATER FAN Models HZ-2200 (charcoal) and HZ-2204 (white) is here.

Some text from the manual:

SET UP
• The Surround Heat™ Heater is designed to
disperse heat in either a 360° range or in one direction only.
• To select the desired heating mode, slide the Direction Control switch, located
on the top of the heater, to the position of your choice:
– to the right (full circle) for 360° Heating
– to the left (half circle) for forward only heating (One Direction
Heating)

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Select the appropriate heat dispersion mode. (See
Set-Up instructions.)
• With the Power knob in the OFF position, plug the
heater into a polarized 120V outlet.
• Turn the Thermostat control fully clockwise to the
HIGH setting.
• Turn the heater on using the Child Resistant switch
(Power knob). To operate the switch, push down
the two sides of the Power knob while turning it
clockwise to the desired position. The power
light will illuminate. The Child Resistant switch helps
ensure that the heater can not be turned on accidentally.
• When the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the Thermostat
control counter-clockwise until the heater goes off. This is the point at which the
Thermostat setting equals the room temperature. At this setting, the Thermostat
will automatically turn the heater on and off to maintain this selected temperature.
• Push down and turn the Power knob to OFF and unplug the heater when you
are finished using it.
