Question about Dell W4200 42 in. HD-Ready Plasma Television
Took it to local shop and they charged $135.00 to tell me that it needs an X board and a Y board? So they say they can fix it for $850.00 I phoned Dell and the parts each cost $18.99 . My question is: should it really cost me that much to get these 2 boards and more importantly is this something that i could maybe put in myself? Please help i am about to throw the tv out of the door and forget i ever heard the name Dell.
I am no expert but if the board comes already all assembled and you are capable of doing the remove and replace deal i think you hould go for it yourself. Worst case, you can spend 850. get a nice lcd. Maybe even less now
