Cracked screen,looks like ink on it. - Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop

    This 2682 model was used four months. Screen cracked when thumb pushed front bevel left side 1/3 of way from top. @ first there was some blurred double of the screen below the crack. With some pressure the blurr disapeared. Then it was like a Christmas light that blinks blur and clear. Tried search for an LCD screen problem.

Try to find the part in an auction (e.g. Ebay) using the exact model number of your laptop. Laptop screens start at $100. To make it worth it though you may need to self-install. There are repair guides online, it's not that hard on Dell at HP laptops. Just remove the front bezel, release LCD plug and backlight plug, remove the defective screen and replace it with the new one, it's almost plug and play. I work for a laptop repair company (Laptop Repair NYC) and we do this replacement frequently in an hour or so.

I have a hp dv6 laptop the inside of this screen looks cracked on the inside with ink leaks,outside is not cracked,i canot plug another moniter in as it says very faint in left corner windows canot...

Cat knocked evo unto ceramic tile floor. Screen is cracked but also looks like large growing ink splotches on the inside. Is this just screen and LCD
It sounds like not only was the glass screen cracked, but the LCD has been damaged as well. My suggestion is to find a local cell phone repair shop and get it replaced. It should be pretty easy to fix and shouldn't cost too much. Unless of course you have insurance on the phone..if so then just order a new one.

It not crack but look like some black ink spills on screen
If you mean the screen...it is cracked. It has a outer shield and then a glass screen. What looks like spilled ink is really the pixels. Better hurry if you want to save the computer by getting another monitor and setting it up to by pass the original screen before it shorts out.

Are you sure the screen is not cracked down there? It sounds an awfully lot like a cracked screen

Some file pressed the screen of my ipod and it has some kind on ink in the screen. its not cracked but has some lines inside the screen. it plays perfect but with those lines inside. how do i solve this?...
it is more then likely cracked ink looking blotches and lines throught the screen are usually signs of a cracked lcd screen

ACER ASPIRE 3680 LOOKS LIKE INK IS BLEEDING INK INSIDE OF IT..
It indeed is a fairly easy repair in case of your Acer. However you will need a replacement screen which would cost a lot if you order it new. You might be better off searching ebay for a broken "donor" laptop (make sure it's exactly the same model, as even similar models with same screen dimensions might have different connectors or inverters - I learned the hard way ;)

The right hand corrner is all black and looks like ink
It sounds like maybe the screen got a crack, fracture in it. It is LCD and it 'looking like ink' kind of points in that direction. It will have to be replaced. If you are up to the task, many replacement screens are available on the internet. I would try eBay first, that is where I got my last one. But unless you are totally comfortable with opening up you m515, take to a service tech.
