I have a Zebra 170xiIII. The feed motor runs both forward and backward. Will be running fine and I have to pause and will start running backward. Have replaced motor and same thing. What's wrong?

The DC power supply drives that motor and may start running it backwards when it begins to fail. The motor normally makes more noise than usual in both directions when it starts to fail like this.

Google "43470-002 power supply, Xi III +" and you will be able to purchase the part.

Will it print anything at all? Or it is not printing from the computer? Power it off and press the cancel key while powering on and see if it will print a configuration label. Be more specific in relating your problem and we can be more help.

Zebra Z4M only feeds a small portion of the label.

You should try a factory reset. Power off the printer. Hold the "pause" and "feed" buttons down while powering up. Allthe lights will blink and when they stop blinking, release the "pause" and "feed" buttons. This will factory reset the printer.
