MY 2003 GMC ENVOY HAS HAD THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON FOR A WHILE.. DID SPARK PLUS, OIL CHANGE, FILTER. TOOK IT TO ADVANCE AND IT SAID THE CRAM SHAFT SENSOR WAS BAD... BUT IF IT WAS BAD.. DOESNT THAT MAKE THE CAR NOT TURN ON??
AND NOW THIS MORNING WENT TO DROP THE IDS OFF AND ITS SHAKING ON DRIVE.. I NEED HELP.. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT I CAN TRY??

Hello kirajmi; My name is Roger and I will help you. The correct amount of oil for your engine when changing the oil and oil filter is. With a 4.2 V-6 engine 7qts. I would look into a tune-up as the spark plugs are a common cause of issues on this vehicle. I would at the very least remove the plugs and inspect them. If they are fine then it may be a clogged fuel filter.
Check the coolant and oil level
Check oil level via dipstick , if it is full check oil filter is not blocked (You need to have a mechanical knowledge to do this ) if both ok then oil pump is on its way out or there is a blockage in the engine oilways
Service Engine Soon (SES) or Check Engine Light On, DTC P0480, P0526/P1481/P1484 Set (Replace Engine Cooling Fan Wiring Harness) #05-06-02-012B - (10/19/2006)
Some customers may comment that the Service Engine Soon (SES) or Check Engine light is illuminated. This condition may be intermittent and upon investigation, the technician may find either DTC P0480, P0526, P1481 or P1484 set.
This condition may be caused by the cooling fan harness chaffing against the plastic guide it routes through. This contact may damage the insulation of the wires enclosed in that harness.
Replace the wire harness:
