With the HP ENVY 110 series, you can print on a single envelope, a group of envelopes, or label sheets designed for inkjet printers.
To print a group of addresses on labels or envelopes
1. Print a test page on plain paper first. 2. Place the test page on top of the label sheet or envelope, and hold both up to the light. Check the spacing for each block of text. Make adjustments as needed. 3. Load the labels or envelopes into the paper tray. CAUTION: Do not use envelopes with clasps or windows. They can get stuck in the rollers and cause paper jams. 4. Slide paper-width guides inward against the stack of labels or envelopes until the guides stop. 5. Select the appropriate options. • On -Paper/Quality- tab select a Plain paper type. • Click the [Advanced] button, and select the appropriate envelope size from the Paper Size drop down menu. 6. Click [OK], and then click [Print] or [OK] in the Print dialog box.
If you print from within a program that DOES have that listed (like M$ Word,) then you don't need the limited printer driver to specify the paper size.
BYPASS TRAY is sed when printing onto paper with a size not loaded into a paper tray or onto thick paper, overhead projector transparencies, postcards, envelopes or label sheets
Can be loaded with up to 150 sheets of plain paper, 50 overhead projector transparencies, postcards, label sheets or sheets of thick paper, or 10 envelopes referred to as the "bypass tray" throughout the manual. (See page 2-60....ATTACHED )

I assume you are using a sheet of labels, such as the typical 3 x 10 sheet. Word sets up the mail-merge document for printing the whole sheet, so if you print just one or two labels, you will `waste' the rest. One way of using that sheet over is to create a mail merge that contains blank `dummy' addresses. It is rather involved and at best time consuming, and considered not worthwhile to save a partial sheet. I service printers, and personally do not recommend that any label sheet be re-used. The printer curls the paper, in some cases fuses it, and causes the corners of the labels to be exposed, and possibly get caught in the printer (I have removed a lot of labels from inside printers)
I had the same problem. The solution I came up with was to use Microsoft Publisher to print the labels. First I drew a circle about the size of the cd and another inside it for the centre. I printed it out on a plain sheet of A4 paper and measured held it over the label to see how they matched up. I dragged the circles in publisher using trial and error until the circles came out in the same place as the circles of the labels. Then I designed the label inside the circle using publisher and when I printed it on the label it came out in the circle.
If you don't have publisher just check the paper shown in your print dialog and make sure you have changed it to the label type you're using rather than A4 Plain which is the standard.
The label sheet needs to go in the front slot, if there isn't a slot on the front, then you grab the notches on each side of the front door and just open the feed tray.
Solution!! Use "HP premium Plus Photo Paper" for the paper type setting. Works great with Avery labels & card stock as well. (business cards had the same alignment problem)
I eventually managed to print my labels one sheet at a time by forcing the label top edge down the page. You can insert one or two lines above the label template and adjust the font size to get the right distance. It took a bit of trial & error but got there in the end. Hope it helps you
When you say TOP TRAY, do you mean a paper drawer, or the BYPASS TRAY? If the labels won't feed into the bypass but bond paper does, check to see if your labels are made for inkjet printers. Go to www.avery.com and contact Avery customer support to see what product they recommend for your MFC. Labels made for plain paper printers sometimes do not work for inkjets, and vice-a-versa.
Hi,
open the related word document.
select 1 line above the Text in question, press enter twice.
That way, the text will drop by 2 lines.
try a test page on this, alternatively try using a different label layout, until you get the desired result.
Other than the AveryL7160.
