How can I delete these sponsored ads which have started showing up in my Yahoo inbox since the beginning of Feb? They have no return address & NO box in which to click to mark them for deletion.

I've tried asking this question before, with unsatisfactory results, so have decided to reword my question. The only way I've been able to delete these annoying sponsored messages from trash and spam folders is to delete all the contents of those folders in bulk. If I click on these ads, I am directed to another link, and since there is no return address, I can't add these to my blocked addresses. I've tried clicking and dragging these to the trash folder, and it only encourages these sponsored email-ads to rotate to another vendor. Is my only solution switching to another email service?

SOURCE: I can not open my yahoo e-mail without having to

Check your mouse configuration. Does it act normally on other programmes? As in using single click or doubleclick? Are you using yahoo main on the web or are you using it in Outlook Express and then opening your mail within that program? If using on the web there shouldn't be a problem if your mouse has correct config.

That's how Yahoo! makes money, from advertisers, since we users don't pay for its services.

Yahoo mail inbox

Open the Compose page
In the From box, keep the return address automatically filled in by att.net Mail, or select a return address from the pull-down list.
The Contacts tab (to the right of the Mail tab) connects you to your Yahoo! Contacts, where you can select a contact from the list on the left, then click the contact's email address on the right to open the Compose page, with the contact's address automatically displayed in the To box.

Many people send to me emails at [email protected] which is my address; however, their messages are frequently returned saying that there is no address like that. This happens and happens and happens all...

try to send email to your self n see if it is coming to your inbox, if its coming then it possibly they r typing the email add.

[email protected], is they r a spac between mjs. & 1943, then thats the problem. or it might b your inbox has less space available, in that case u need to delete some of your emails...n see if it works

My inbox, drafts and contacts are completely gone! I need them back asap! There were over 200 messages in my inbox, and like 150 contacts. I need them!!!!!!!!! What happened????

Check your trash. If you did not delete the trash, you can put a check on them and send them back to the inbox. If you deleted the trash, it is gone. You can not undelete it. maybe you can contact yahoo help and support , can't rule out virus , multiple access to the account . mail is not stored on hard drive but i believe contacts are , possibly a system restore to earlier date might make the contacts reappear . just a thought .
