I was given a reconditioned laptop as a present which came with a Cannon Webcam Model CN-WCAM21. There was no installation disk or manual but we were led to believe it was already installed. There is an icon on my desktop. I cannot get the camera connected. When I invite my daughter in Australia to view my webcam I get a message that it is not connected. Can you advise how I get up and running please.

- Sorry, it is a Canyon Webcam, not Cannon.

- Hi Shugster, I appreciate your help, thank you very much. I don't think I am maybe doing things right. I haven't managed to get the webcam up and running although I do think I have installed the driver (and possibly I was wrong, it may have already been installed). When I click on AMCAP it comes up with "sorry you have no video capture hardware". Can this be remedied or do I need something else? Once again thanks for your time and expertise.
