The music playing through the mp3 player is only the background music of each track. i have changed ear phones, deleted and put the music on again and nothing is working, its been like that since i bought...

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

Can not get my Southern Audio MP3 player to play music . need a manual on how to use it.

To play music it's rather simple select 'Music" from the main menu, then press the (M) button. Now finally hit the play button on the lower right hand corner on the front of the player and that's it.

Music sounds like it is in a tin can

Sounds like your music is being ripped with a lower bit rate. That will heavily affect the sound quality. Try ripping your music at a higher bit rate. If your not sure how to do this, get support from the people who wrote the program you use. If that doesn't help, then maybe you can try buying better head phones or ear buds. Hope this helps.

WIll not play

pushing the play button on the side toggles between play and pause. Make sure the hold switch isn't in the hold position.
