Question about Sony KP-57WS510 57" Rear Projection HDTV
I have a Sony KP-57WS510. It has worked perfectly for 4 years. Just yesterday the image on the TV had a concave top & bottom, but is straight on the left and right sides. You can see the red, blue and green images separate on the top and bottom of the image. The center of the image is fine, and in focus. Any idea what the problem might be?
There should not be a need to replace the chip if the fuse below the convergence chip is blown. Check to see if there is a short in the convergence output (after the fuse). If nothing is seen then replace the fuse and see if it works.
