That means your "Heating" mode is in Economy!
Without knowing what make our model spa you have, or the manufacturer of spa controls, difficult to assist in telling you how to switch to other modes.
Maybe try this:
Pressing the "Temperature" button and then immediately the "Light/Jets" button may change the system back to Standard?
Once you press those buttons, the "Ec" code comes on and stays on (flashing), and then you can press the "Light/Jets" button to toggle between Standard and Economy and maybe SL - which is Sleep modes.
Good luck
Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that you are getting an "EC" error code on your Frigidaire air conditioner. However, it appears "EC" is an invalid error code. It is possible that the error code is missing characters? I show that the error code "ES" or "CS" is valid. In the meantime, I suggest resetting your air conditioner. You can do this by flipping the household circuit breaker for roughly ten minutes. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please inform me of the new error code or if your air conditioner continues to display "EC". I look forward to assisting you. -Matt
F6: EC (Electrical Compartment) Temperature High
Fault is displayed when the EC thermocouple
exceeds 158?F (70?C). It is monitored once per
minute.
The electrical compartment is overheating. Remove the panel on the right side and clean out all the dust. Check the fan at the back and see if its blowing alot of air. Sometimes this fan can get so clogged up with dirt, it slows down the air flow.
