I go into special modes for faxes and select to "always print" transaction reports. However, the printer will still only print out faxes that do not go through. It will not print a transaction report for faxes that do go through.
Any way to make transaction reports print for all outgoing faxes, and make it stick?

Setting 05: TRANSACTION REPORT PRINT SELECTION This sets the condition for printing out a Transaction Report. Enter a number from 1 to 5 as follows: 1 (ERROR/TIMER MEMORY): A report will be printed after an error, timer operation, or memory operation. 2 (SEND ONLY) A report will be printed only after a transmission 3 (ALWAYS PRINTS) A report will be printed after each transmission, reception, or error 4 (NEVER PRINTS) A report will never be printed. 5 (ERROR ONLY) A report will be printed only after an error occurs
To select a default option for printing fax transmission reports: 1. On the printer console, press the System button. 2. Select Admin Menu, and then press the OK button. 3. Select System Settings, and then press the OK button. 4. Select Fax Transmit, and then press the OK button. 5. Select one of the following options, and then press the OK button: - Print Always: A transmission report is always printed. - Print at Error: A transmission report is only printed when an error occurs with the fax transmission. - Not Print: A transmission report is never printed.
Sending Confirmation This report shows the fax number, the number of pages, elapsed time of the operation, the communication mode, and the communication results. You can set up your machine to print the message confirmation report in one of the following ways (see page 5.3): • Automatically after each transmission (ON) • Automatically only if an error occurs during transmission (ERR) • No report printed at all (OFF). You can print this report manually at any time you want. SENDING CONFIRM - A confirmation report shows whether the transmission was successful or not, how many pages were sent, etc. Select ON to print a confirmation report automatically each time you send a fax. Select OFF to turn this feature off. Select ERROR to print only when an error occurs and the transmission was not successful.

Choose the report you want by using left or right arrow. 3. Press Start/Enter when the desired report is displayed. 4. The selected report will be printed.
Sending Confirm A confirmation report shows whether the transmission was successful or not, how many pages were sent, etc. ON: prints a confirmation report automatically each time you send a fax. OFF: never prints a confirmation report (You can print one manually using the Report/Help button (see Print reports on page 51). ERROR: prints only when an error occurs.
First you have to lift the panels under the speed dial numbers to expose all of the additional features and setting buttons, Press the REPORT button, then the SET button. This will give you a daily log.
Press Funktion and then report-activity reports will be displayed press ok.Or you can go to funktion-datarigestration-scroll to reports,press ok,select TX report,select output yes.Then after you send a fax a tx report of the fax you send will be printed out.

and there is a power failure, this report is printed automatically

It can also be used as a quick reference guide.
These reports show information concerning the transmission and
reception activities. They can be printed on command. Or if the
machine is set to do so, they will automatically print after every

Phonebook This report shows all of the numbers currently stored in the fax
machine’s memory as One-Touch Dial and Speed Dial.
