If this is the auto set version, is it under warranty? Less than 3 years old? If so take it to a shop and fix should be free. Otherwise, the fan motor is also a transformer, which puts out 24 vac to run the board. So could be fan motor or the board itself.

SOURCE: Wire feed not working Miller 250 mig welder

Hi there,
If the knob spins all the way around (and especially of it didn't always do that), it's broken. This could mean that the nut that holds the rheostat in place has come loose, or it could be that the wiper inside the rheostat has broken off the shaft. To find the voltage measurements, correct schematics, etc, I'd need to know the serial number of your welder.

Regards,
Carl

SOURCE: Miller 130 XP wire feed quit working, fan runs....

Usually either the Power Supply to, or, the Motor drive circuitry. Or even the "Feed motor" itself.

SOURCE: miller 175 trigger will not feed wire very

First thing make sure the lead cable is as straight as possible. and make sure the wire has a unobstructed path. then you should check the trigger input/output switch and see if the switch is getting power to it continuously. I hope this help please rate this thank you

SOURCE: Miller mig welder #175 stopped

This usually happens when the main Power semiconductors fail. You need to check out the two main places, the Power Supply, make sure ALL voltages are correct, and the main Output semiconductors, check these to make sure they are Not open circuit or short circuit.

Millermatic 211 when its plugged into 110 it welds fine but when i plug it into 220 the fan kicks on like normal but i get nothing on the gun and no wire feed shop said board miller says its a relay.

This machine is an auto adjust for different voltages.

The front end of the circuity is a PMPS or pulse mode power supply. No matter the input, the output is the same.
Most all small appliances today are built around this technology. I bet a small IC on the circuit board has gone bad. A good electronics repair man could fix this or you can get the board from Miller.

When I push the trigger I lose my voltage to run the feed motor, the motor works with other power source

Had the same problem with mine but mine isn't miller and don't know if your's is built the same but if you access the inside of the machine there's there's a large copper spool inside and that wire feed handle is powered through it. The connection heats up over time and becomes a short. I re spliced mine then soldered it and then cut piece of copper tubing and crimped it around the connection and soldered that as well.
Corrected the problem and I tried pretty much all listed solutions other then this first. Tried the new liner in the torch, the new tip and clamping the wire feed assembly with a clamp instead of the tensioner. All failed. I stumbled on to the fix accidentally when I was trying to install a more heavy duty fan. Hope this helps. Good luck.

How do i fix "Trig Stuk" on my Miller welder?

Assuming the Trig Stuk is a message on a display tells me you have a later model welder. Try downloading the manual from Miller. Or if you're adventurous look at the trigger and see if it is stuck, take it apart, clear any debris blocking the trigger contact (preventing it from opening after the trigger is released). Check for cut or twisted wires and see if they are connected at the wire feed motor or has one come off? Is a piece of weld wire touching the motor feed connections?

Hi:
By the description sounds like the trigger itself is the problem, have you try to bypass (bridge) the connection (disconnect the gun's plug from the machine and use a clip to bypass it at the machine's end) and see if the problem persists?
If the problem continues, then the problem would be the heat sensor.

Check to make sure wire feed brake is not set too tight and that all cables and gun are clean. Also check wire feed wheels are clean and in good shape

New Miller 211 Set it all up pluged in and no power at all . no lights no fan no drive motor , nothing?? Checked power supply , thats good.

did you check to see if there is a circuit breaker on the back? also should have two electrical connections inside it where you switch polarity depending on whether you're using flux core or are using shielding gas. i believe one of those cables comes directly from battery positive.

Millermatic 140 w/ auto set powers on but will not feed wire or arc

If its a new unit its probably nothing. Miller makes good stuff. Open the side so you can see the spool. With the machine on, press the trigger for a second. Did the little wheel spin (trying to feed the wire) if it did then your problem could be kinked wire, **** on tip, or spring on small spool is loose and wire is slipping. Let me know.
