Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
My Dell Ispirion 600m has a broken pin where the charger connects.... I believe they said it was connected to the motherboard??? Anyways.... they want alot to fix this... is this hard to fix? can I do this ?? I plug in the charger to the wall and the light goes off on the charger cord as soon as its connected to the device. Any Ideas???
if that is the case, then there is indeed a short on the ac port (thats where you plug in the charger.) that's the reason why the charger light goes off as soon as you plug it in to the back of the computer. I know its gonna cost you a lot since the only way if fixing this is to replace the motherboard. if its gonna cost you $500 + then better buy a new one. they're gonna replace it with a refurbished motherboard anyways.
Hope this helps.
