Batteries leaked in my Casio and now ther's a clicling and hissing noise. Can this be fixed ?

I've already cleaned the battery compartment but I assume some of the battery leakage got into the electronics. Where do I clean with the vinegar ? should I clean the circuit boards ? Thanks

Tried the vinegar but still the same. Any other suggestions ?

I am going to assume that the leakage was from alkaline batteries. Vinegar will work to clean the residue. This must be done for the electronics to work at the proper voltage....accordianman

If any corrosion has gotten onto the circuit boards, this must be cleaned off, also. Yes, you can use vinegar on that, too...accordianman

Everything must be clean and pristine for the unit to work properly. Disassembly will be required to get to any electronics that are in close proximity to the battery compartment....accordianman
