Why does my radio keep going off and on? Then later on, it works just fine. I can hear like a little buzzing sound when it goes off and on.

Clean the battery post's and terminals and hot wires to starter and the ends of the ground wires. Try to jump start it if it starts it may be your battery or your starter is going bad.

nevr go to a dealer--inxperiencd techs--sounds like the capacitors are worn----go to a radio shop

this is hard does it only do it when driving or anytime I ask because I have seen where the trim around windshield would vibrate from the wind when driving and also could be fuel pump it could be coming from radio loose connection try pulling fuse for radio see if it goes away

Your battery is most likely dead if your lights go out. Charge or change your battery, but your altenater maybe be bad. It recharges your battery, if it don't work your battery will die..

One of the problems with AM reception iam afraid but here i suspect that the aerial mounting isnt earthing properly thus causing the AM reception to be susceptable to interference

somewhere you have a short in your wires that triggers the fuse in your radio

THIS HAPPENS WHEN YOUR ALTERNATOR GOES OUT....

if the radio is still working then the speaker is bad

yeah that could be one of the problem.
