Ok this isnt really a clear description but I will give it a try. First is there gas in the engine? Has it been sitting long? If it has been sitting then gas could have gelled in the carb and you need to clean out your carb. Is the fuel on/off switch in the on position? Do you have spark at yoru plug? Is your oil low? If all those things come back ok, then move to your pump. Try starting it while holding in the trigger on your wand. If it cuts off again when you let go of the trigger then you know that your pumps unloader is the problem and needs to be repaired or replaced. Good luck and let me knwo what you find

typically the fuze is under the hood. It is a inline fuze attached to the antenna motor.. I may be hidden under the fender, so find the motor for the antenna and follow the wires till you come upon the fuze holder. It comes apart with a twist, be sure to replace with the same value fuze. 2 amp usually. It has been my experience that these fuzes blow because of a short in the wiring or a short in the motor itself. so if your replacement fuze blows right after you put it in, you have more than a fuze problem.
Did you have a paper/cardboard filter attached to the top part of the unit? Sounds like you didn't have a filter or the silicate material got past it and into the motor and windings. Bad news if this is the case. Try taking the top part off, turn it on to see if it runs without the bottom tank section. Double check to see if your vac has a fuze. If it won't go on you'll need to dismantle the upper unit and clean it all out. Hand turn the motor and see if it easily turns or is sluggish. My wife used my wet/dry vac without the filter and wrecked it with sheetrock dust into the motor. I dismantled the top, cleaned it twice and it's still no good. By the way, generally you have to take the paper filter out if you are vacuuming wet up. If you leave the paper filter on and vacuum wet up, the paper filter will get wet, shred and get pulled into the upper motor unit. A wet/dry vac isn't really made to pump water (by the gallons) out of places, so don't expect that. Okay yes you can often hook up an outlet hose to the drain port at the back of the tank and vacuum quantities of water, but it's not really made to do this.
Hi Greg, You Have A Short! If You Put A New Fuze Does It Blow When You Turn The Key On, Or As You Try To Start Or When You Operate The Trim Switch. Try To Acertain What You Do When It Actually Blows The Fuze Let Me Know Cheers Gordon
If your relay and fuse are okay, and you blower will not run at any switch speed, there could be an issue with the brushes and commutator of the blower motor. Once I had a small leaf go in between one brush and the commutator and it kept my blower from running. once I removed it, it ran fine. My blower was located on the passenger side under the glovebox. It required removal of about a dozen fasteners and it took about an hour to disassemble, diagnose and return to working order.
there may be a shard of broken glass stuck in the wash pump, this is very common. or it may be the capacitor that has worn out. try gaining access to the wash pump and with a slotted screw driver, turn the shaft at the back of the motor, if it turns freely, with EXTREME CAUTION, start the machine up and when the motor should be running, turn the shaft with the flat screw driver and if it runs as normal, replace the capacitor, that will solve your problem. If on the other hand the motor is jammed when you initialy turned the shat, there will be glass or something similar stuck in it. hope this has been beneficial to you.
It may be the motor start capacitor or the motor or the wiring to it. Some units have a built-in switch that shuts the unit off if the motor doesn't start turning after a short interval. However, if it drains it usually means the motor runs enough to pump it out. These units usually stop draining when the fill switch opens at the lower level.
