How do I transfer photos from my phone to my computer.

Transfer photo using USB cable:
You could also send them as an attachment in an email to yourself from your Sprint HTC Hero. Then you could download them onto your computer from the email.

Of course, I would only do this if I was sending a couple pictures. The way outlined above using the USB cable is more efficient for large quantities of pictures.

Cant send photo from computer to phone

As the question is short I assume you are trying to use bluetooth or usb cable to send photos/pic from PC to Phone.

* make sure both are paired
* in USB make sure that the connection is in storage mode.

it should work.

How do I download pics from the web to my photo album? I have the HTC 4g ego

Downloading pictures from Web photo album to your HTC phone can be done in two ways. Wired and Bluetooth.

For wired:

1. First, check the memory settings of your HTC and make sure to set the external memory card as your default storage.

2. Connect the USB cable that came with your HTC to the computer and to the device. Let the computer detect the handheld.

3. The computer will assign a drive letter for your HTC (i.e. I: F: G:).

4. Open your web photo album and right-click the picture that you would like to send to the handheld.

- If there is an option to "Send To", select it then select the drive letter that is assigned to your HTC. The picture will be copied to your device.

- If the option is copy, copy the picture > open the drive letter of the HTC > right-click on any space > then paste. It will also copy

For Bluetooth:

1. Make sure that your computer has Bluetooth connection. If the computer does not have a Bluetooth, then you can only use the wired connection.

2. Enable the Bluetooth on your computer and on your HTC. Then pair the two devices.

3. Once paired, right-click the photo that you would like to download > Send > via Bluetooth > then select your HTC. > Send.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you and good luck!

How do I transfere a photo from my cellphone (boost mobil)to this computer to use in profiles & such?

It is not a difficult task, all you need to do is

1.Check if your phone has a bluetooth, put on the bluetooth of both the phone and the computer.

2.Confirm if both the phone and the computer has been paired, then you can now send your pictures, save them and use them for any purpose,

3.If your phone does not have bluetooth, you could use a USB cable to pair both gadgets and then send your pictures.

My htc hero pairs but then says paired but not connected. It cannot then be found so i cant send or receive any thing through bluetooth also the phone dosen't connect wirelessly 2 my livebox (orange...

The Hero has a rather crippled Bluetooth which is one of the reasons I'm sending mine back.

For security, when you set the phone to be discoverable it only stays that way for 90 seconds. This cannot be altered unless someone works out how to bypass it with an app but I understand from HTC that this feature is built in at the firmware level.

Look down at the devices list in the Bluetooth menu and you'll see what's paired with the phone; press menu and you'll have the option to connect.

Bluetooth on this phone cannot be used for file transfers of any kind. It's only there to enable connection of devices like headsets and external keyboards and that's about it. You can't even take a photo and Bluetooth it to another phone. There is no way around this at present.

Not connected with your question, but have you discovered the annoyingly expensive and non-alterable trick which it does when you want to send/forward long SMS messages yet?

Blackberry 8700c Problem.

Your Blackberry 8700 has a older version of bluetooth which does not allow file transfer. That is the reason your phone does not receive anything. The bluetooth version on your phone is designed for hands free bluetooth devices only.
