What fluid do i need in my 3066 tripod

they don't use fluid - maybe some grease in the tilt and pan of the head, but the tripod itself doesn't need any.. you might need an adjustment somewhere... I own 3 of these.

Fluid head platform is moving before the fluid

Below the head where it attached to the center column is a set of three screws. Back them out a little bit and then tighten the head, then screw those three grub screws back in to lock the head.

Bogen/Manfrotto 025BSL Super Boom Need Parts and Instruction Manual

My Manfrotto Superboom is "frozen" - the cranks will not turn and the head will not change it's angle.

I called the Bogen service department. They wanted me to pack the boom and ship it to them for a look-see.

Right... packing + shipping for an oversized item (2 ways) would likely cost more than a new one. And most likely it will get damaged along the way.

No thank you.
