Epson Stylus Photo R230x Flash servis

This is because the ink pads in the bottom of the printer are full of waste ink. To get to this state, the printer will normally have been well used. It will need to be dismantled and new pads installed then the printer will need to be reset. Probably best to put it in the nearest recycling skip and buy a new machine.

My Epson R300 printer states that some components are coming near the end of their active life. How can I get this repaired and is it worth the expense?

A very good printer, I have one myself. Everytime you change your ink carts or do a head clean ink is shot through the print heads and pumped to absorbent waste pads. There is a limit to how much ink the pads can take so there is an internal counter which is giving you the message.

There is a safety margin so you can reset the counter yourself, instructions and download link here

I would recommend getting an external waste ink tank as well though here is a link for that or you could do a Google search for an alternative.

How can I do whith my epson printer said 'printer parts are at end of service life' thank you

You have to reset waste ink counter and replacing waste pad. Or you can just extend outlet pipe of head cleaning mechanics to outside of printer. Find resetter or adjusment program at indoreset.blogspot.com. Or email me :[email protected] if you don't find out there.

Your printer needs to be reset, you need a software resetter, you can use SSC utility. But you must clean first the waste pad inside the printer or the best thing there is to move the waste hose outside the printer. There is a waste hose that is going through the waste pad then instead of letting it throwing ink on the waste pad, change the direction of the hose, point it outside the printer and put external vessel or tank where to dump ink.

Saying a part of your printer has come to the end of its working

This means that the waste ink pads in the base of the printer are full and need to be replaced.

There is a much easier solution which is described here with information on how to redirect the waste ink and reset the waste ink counter in the printer so the printer will allow you to print again.

If you have any problems, please add a comment and I'll do what I can to help.

Clean "Waste Ink Cartridge" Epson R300

Had the same problem. (its a work around without removing the waste ink pad)
Took alot of work but I fixed it.
Frist thing you need to know that error means your ink waste pad is full. Its a $75.00 to replace but there is a work around it.
You will need this free app. SSC service utitlty.
http://inkjetprinterhelp.us/epsonSSC.html Its a great app.
Instrusctions are on the website there.
You will also have to Open the access panel on the rear of the printer (remove screw) and look inside carefullly with a flashlight. You will see a tube (down and to your left) coming from the cleaning pump and it will have an open end on it. This is the tube that delivers ink to the waste pad.
Use a piece of coat hanger wire or equivalent, and fish out this piece of tube. Bring it to the outside of the printer, thru the access panel.
Find yourself a suitable container (Tupperware or a plastic cup or jar) that is not too tall. Put the tube into this container and secure the tube and container so they won’t come apart or lose connection if the printer is moved.
If you wish you can make a hole or notch in the access panel cover so it can be replaced.
